May is generally a quiet month and we have had no visitors at the camp for around 2 weeks, although two nights ago we did have a different kind of visitor. We have the whole afternoon ahead of us so we leave the blackrock males sleeping and head off to try and find the blackrock females with their cubs. The morning is cold. It had rained all night, not heavy rain, just that light drizzle that is so common in England or Ireland.
